Our rooster feathers are sourced from a USA breeder and selected for salon use. Their long, thin shape lets them follow the movement of straight, wavy, or curly hair.
We dye our colored feathers in-house, with options ranging from soft pastels and rich jewel tones to bright solids and hand-dyed rainbow tie-dye. Natural tones offer a subtle alternative.
Choose grizzly stripes, solid colors, or a combination. Because these are real feathers, shape and markings naturally vary.

Choose the length for your client's hair, installation position, and desired look. Longer feathers can be tucked through layers for subtle movement or left more visible for a statement.

Installation & care
Install with Silicone-Lined Micro Beads
Micro beads attach the feathers to a small section of hair without glue. Choose placement and feather quantity to suit your client's hair and finished style.
- Section the HairChoose a small section for your feather placement.
- Thread the BeadUse a loop tool to pull the section through a micro bead.
- Add the FeatherInsert the feather tip into the bead alongside the hair.
- Secure the BeadClamp with pliers, following the installation instructions.
The optional DIY kit includes silicone-lined micro beads, a pink loop tool, and printed instructions. Pliers and feathers are not included.
Washing, Styling & Wear
Wash & Style
Real rooster feathers can be washed, blow-dried, curled, and flat-ironed alongside the hair. Follow the care guidance and heat limits on the product you choose.
Wear & Reposition
Feathers can last 4–6 months with proper installation and care. Wear varies with the client's routine. A stylist can remove or reposition them using the micro beads.

The pack contains your selected 50- or 100-feather option in 12–14 inch lengths. Beads, loop tools, pliers, and other installation supplies are not included. Shop tools and supplies separately.

Yes. Feather My Head hair extensions are 100% real rooster feathers sourced from a USA breeder and selected for salon use. Our colored feathers are dyed in-house.
Can clients wash and heat-style their feathers?
Yes. Real rooster feathers can be washed, blow-dried, curled, and straightened. Follow the individual product's care guidance and heat limit.
Are all colors available in 16+ inch lengths?
No. Extra-long 16+ inch feathers are limited to selected dyed colors. Rainbow tie-dye stops at 14–16 inches, and natural feathers are not offered in 16+ inches.
Do salons have to order a bulk pack?
No. Order individual feathers, six-piece refills, designer mixes, rainbow sets, or salon packs. You can start small and restock as clients request colors.
