Do UV-reactive hair feathers glow in the dark?
They need a UV blacklight to create the reactive effect; ordinary darkness alone won’t activate it. These blacklight hair feathers also bring visible neon color to your hair in normal lighting. Color response varies by shade and lighting.
Are the feathers real?
Yes. These sets use real rooster feathers, hand-dyed in the USA.
How many feathers should I order?
Choose a single feather for a small accent, a 6-piece color pack to build your own mix, or a coordinated 6- or 16-feather bundle. Each 6-piece color pack contains 3 solid and 3 grizzly-striped feathers in the selected color. Check the product page for available lengths and options.
Do I need installation supplies?
The feathers arrive loose and unbonded. Installation supplies are sold separately. See our feather extension installation guidance for the supplies and steps, and check the product page before ordering.
