Our discounted feather variety packs give feathers that did not make it into our premium packs a place in your next creation. From unexpected hand-dyed results to irregular markings and imperfect tips, these feathers come with character—and a mix that is yours to discover.
A surprise mix, every time
No two packs are the same. Colors, widths, markings and the degree of imperfection vary. Think of each assortment as a starting point for your imagination, rather than a matched set or a specific color palette.
What makes a feather “imperfect”?
- Unexpected dye results: uneven color, off-shade results or color combinations that differ from our intended finish.
- Different markings or widths: softer grizzly barring or feathers thinner than those selected for premium packs.
- Imperfect tips or areas: some feathers may have broken tips or other irregular areas.
Not every pack contains every kind of imperfection. Review the individual listing for the count and length offered.

Will I receive the feathers in the photos?
Photos show examples of the assortment, not the exact contents of your pack. Colors, markings and individual feathers will vary. Any campaign artwork is illustrative.
Can I choose specific colors?
These are assorted variety packs. Specific colors, matched pairs and identical repeat packs are not guaranteed. For a particular color or a more consistent finish, explore our premium single feathers.
Are these the same as premium feathers?
These feathers did not meet the selection standard for our premium packs. Expect visible variation or imperfections, including dye differences, softer markings and imperfect tips.
Can I use them for hair extensions or fly tying?
Choose each feather for the job. Some may suit hair accents, while others work better for jewelry, crafts or particular fly patterns. We do not guarantee that every feather will suit every use.
Does “discounted” mean an extra coupon?
The offer is the feather assortment at the price shown on its product listing. Any separate promotion will state its own terms.
